First of all, Lisboa or Lisbon, the Capital city of Portugal is built across seven hills just like Rome! It is one of the oldest Capital cities of Europe after Athens. Be it the magnificent Praça de Commercial (The Commerce Square) or the Alfama Neighbourhood, Lisbon has a wide variety of sights and attractions for all kinds of travellers.
Also, Lisbon has a rich cultural heritage and is yet modern! Tram and Tuk Tuk rides, indulging in the delicious Portuguese cuisine and taking day trips around Lisbon are highly recommended for its visitors.
The unique tiled pavements with beautiful patterns are something that you will find all around the city while walking.

The Alfama, which is one of the oldest neighbourhoods, having the Lisbon Cathedral built as early as the 13th century is a historical delight to know! The Earthquake of 1755 could not destroy the Alfama! One Can get lost in the labyrinth of Alfama with its cobbled streets and stunning view points to get a glimpse of the entire city!
The Castle of San Jorge built at the top of the Alfama and the Tajo River offer magnificent views of the entire city of Lisbon.
Walking along the river front that overlooks the Commerce Square, The Rosio Square, views from Santo Justa lift, indulging in some of the delicious Portuguese food and drink in the Bairro Alto neighbourhood and tasting the Pastel de Nata are some of the must dos that one must not miss!
